Rental conditions


Terms and Conditions
To ensure your stay and the lead-up to it run as smoothly as possible, you will find our booking terms and conditions below. By completing the booking form, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the terms and conditions stated below.

Reservation
After receiving your reservation, we will send you a confirmation by email, subject to availability. We kindly request that you pay a deposit of 25% of the total accommodation costs within one week. The reservation is final once we have received the deposit. The remaining amount can be paid on-site at the end of your stay. If the deposit is not received within one week, we reserve the right to re-rent the room.

Changes and Cancellations
Any changes can be discussed by email or telephone. If we agree to the changes, we will send you a new confirmation, incorporating the changes. In case of cancellation, the following amounts will be charged:

• Cancellation from 6 weeks to 4 weeks before the start date: 25% of the tour price
• Cancellation from 4 weeks to 2 weeks before the start date: 50% of the tour price
• Cancellation from 2 weeks to 1 week before the start date: 75% of the tour price
• Cancellation from 1 week before the start date: 100% of the tour price

Arrival and Departure
On the day of arrival, you are welcome between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM. To ensure a safe and pleasant welcome, please let us know your expected arrival time. On the day of departure, the room must be vacated by 10:30 AM.

Liability
L’Ancienne Ecole du Villard cannot be held liable for damage, theft, or loss of guests’ property. The same applies to any injury caused to guests, regardless of the cause. Entering our premises is at your own risk. Guests are responsible for arranging their own cancellation and travel insurance.

Force Majeure
If L’Ancienne Ecole du Villard has to cancel a reservation due to force majeure, the deposit paid will be refunded. L’Ancienne Ecole du Villard accepts no liability for any other damages suffered by the guest, and no further claims for compensation of any kind can be made.

Guest Accommodation
A maximum of two people can stay in a double room, and a maximum of four people (including two children) in a family room.
Pets are not allowed.
Smoking/vaping is not permitted anywhere in the guest room.

Damage
Accidents or damage may occur.
• The main tenant is liable for any damage caused by themselves or their co-tenants.
• The landlord may charge for any damages.
